Awesome book. I never would have thought that getting into someone else's head could be so spine chilling. It takes a great imagination to write something
like this.
I loved this book and will order the next one right away. The characters were wonderful can't wait to start it. I read a little every day and sometimes a lot depending on how good the book is. Would recommend this to anyone who loves thriller s.
The typos and auto-correct bloopers are driving me crazy. For me, it's hard to get past them and get into the story. For example, just a few pages in, this author writes about the character having difficulty sleeping, then uses the term "sleep depravity" in that context. How is it possible to not know that the phrase is "sleep deprivation??" Shortly after that, uses the phrase "back to realty." Since the context of the phrase had nothing to do with buying or selling houses, I'm assuming he really meant "back to reality."
Such issues really interfere with my personal ability to really get into a story.This type of thing has become more and more present in 's e-books, and I just wish that writers would take themselves seriously enough to hire a good proofreader if they expect to be taken seriously as an author.
Enjoyed the plot and character backgrounds. Kept me interested throughout.
Surprised that Norma was not mentioned in ending.
If you enjoy a different type suspense story. This will fill the need.

WOW!! This is my first Paul Seiple novel but definitely NOT my last!!
The cast of characters were phenomenal...one of the most in depth and creative cast of any book I have read in a long time. The story line had me in it's grips and never loosened! Non-stop horror and excitement...honestly it was SO good I never stopped, well only long enough to go to and buy the next two books...YES that good!!

Don't confuse your characters throughout the book. Bible and brimstone. Good and evil. Heaven and Hell. All in the power of one family's delusional ideals. One sadistic serial killer has a family affair that reaches to the best people in town. When dreams start to tell stories that are coming true these relationships come out in the open. Some family lines are best being discontinued, or are they? Full of suspense and mystery and intrigue. Read it in one day. I Liked the characters in book.
Paul Seiple writes with such graphic creativity that you are drawn into these horrific murder scenes and into the twisted mind of a psychopath. Every page grips you with a hold your breath sense of foreboding you know the next page will bring a sickening feel of death. Once you get to the identity of the murderer you sit and think well did I see that coming? Maybe you did maybe you didn't. Don't miss the first chapter of Detective Mike's career and how he gets his start in life.
